The built environment is responsible for a large contribution of carbon emitted into the atmosphere and waste products spoiling our landscapes and oceans.

 
 
 

The project

of.earth is an initiative with a goal of educating the architecture and interior design sectors on materials and processes that will help the industry build towards a sustainable future.

Stemming from a long-standing interest in environmental issues, of.earth’s founder Georgia Davis – a london-based interior designer – decided to develop her knowledge on how these sectors could make positive changes in their approach and make choices that will benefit people and the planet in years to come. Using instagram and a blog site, of.earth will evolve over time with the goal of becoming a hub of information and useful resources.

Inspired by her commitment to making an impact, I was thrilled to work with Georgia to create the name and the brand identity for of.earth. My aim was to develop a brand emulating simplicity, clarity and confidence while maintaining an earthy visual language. Using minimalist geometric icons, textural photography and clean typography, the brand reflects Georgia’s personal style as well as setting the scene for disseminating information and presenting to industry leaders.
